I’ve always loved jewellery, whether wearing it or making it, and wanting to make myself a piece of my own jewellery I went along to an Adult Education centre and for 10 weeks had the most fun ever. Following this I decided that Corporate life wasn’t for me I left my job and home and enrolled as a mature student at Buckinghamshire New University on their BA (Hons) Jewellery degree and had the most wonderful 3 years’, being able to be creative everyday was exhilarating, trying new techniques, learning new skills, and making friends for life, it was truly a wonderful experience and one that I will never forget. I graduated in 2010 and since then I have set up as a Jewellery Designer Maker with my workshop at home in the Cotswolds where I make bespoke pieces for clients as well as designing new pieces for each of my collections.
Since graduating in 2010 my work has developed and evolved, and although I continue to use Sterling Silver I am always looking at new materials that I can combine, from my degree show collection of Concrete, through to Resin, Jesmonite and now for 2018 Polymer Clay. I use traditional jewellery and silversmithing techniques – each piece is made with either silver sheet or silver wire which is then rolled, pierced, textured and polished. The findings (ear wires/hooks, clasps etc are all handmade, together with Polymer Clay techniques.
My range includes earrings, studs, necklaces, pendants, brooches and cufflinks. Each piece is unique. I undertake commissions and will work with you to get the finished piece you are looking for.
